The event kicked off with a soulful recitation of Rahras Sahib. Following that a Kirtan Durbar was held with two Kirtan groups taking the stage to perform Gurbani Kirtan.
The Sangat or the congregation swelled to thousands and reveled in the divine Shabad Kirtan. Once the kirtan came to an end the final prayers were offered and then it was time for Guru Ka Langar. Then a community meal was served with utmost devotion. The Sangat continued to pour in and the Guru’s langar was enjoyed by all.
Meanwhile the entire Jalandhar Heights-2 was transformed into a mesmerizing sight under the guidance of the company’s managing director Sardar Sukhdev Singh. Colorful lights adorned Jalandhar Heights-2 and the entire Urbana creating a magical ambiance that seemed straight out of a supernatural scene.
